CORRECTION: (From The Vancouver Sun, Tuesday, May 25, 2004, page A2) Stories published May 8 and May 13 referred to allegations by an SFU swim coach that he was stalked by former SFU swim team member Rachel Marsden. In fact, the allegations were not proven and SFU declared its investigation into both parties claims of harassment null and void because of flaws in the process. *****
PRINCE GEORGE - Self-described political pundit Rachel Marsden will appear in court Tuesday to face harassment charges involving former radio personality Michael Morgan. Police allege Morgan received unwanted e-mails and phone calls from Marsden between Oct. 1 and Nov. 14, 2002, after a year-long sexual relationship between the two ended.
Marsden has been the subject of media attention since her contract with B.C. Conservative MP Gurmant Grewal was terminated last week. Working under the name Elle Henderson, Marsden was hired over the objections of Conservative officials to produce material such as news releases. Marsden has been a controversial figure since 1996, when she alleged that Simon Fraser University swim coach Liam Donnelly raped her when it turned out Marsden had been stalking him.
