Marsden and former boss disagree on role in campaign

VANCOUVER - Controversial Vancouver radio host Rachel Marsden and her former boss, Member of Parliament Gurmant Grewal, apparently differ on what Marsden did for his successful campaign.
A press release promoting Marsden's interview with G. Gordon Liddy, a former assistant to U.S. President Richard Nixon, claims that Marsden "has managed various successful political campaigns, including that of the first husband/wife team to ever be elected to Canadian Parliament."
But Grewal told The Vancouver Sun on Sunday that's not true. He said Marsden was not campaign manager for him and his wife. "She helped a little bit as a volunteer, but not too much. She didn't manage our campaigns."
He said he didn't plan to make an issue of it, saying it would be a waste of time. His constituents know who managed his campaign, he said.
